What is a Power Transformer ?

≪ Previous Next ≫

The Power Transformer is used on transmission lines for transmission and distribution of relatively large quantities of energy. A power transformer is generally used for power generation and transmission and distribution Sub-Station. The voltage rating of the power transformer is generally above 11 KV.

50 MVA 132/33 KV Power-Transformer

The rating of power transformers is given below

Sl. No. Capacity and voltage ratting of Power-Transformer
1 315 MVA 400/220 KV Single ph auto transformer
2 200 MVA 220/132/33 KV Auto Transformer
3 160 MVA 220/132/33 KV Auto Transformer
4 50 MVA 132/33 KV Power-Transformer
5 31.5 MVA 132/33 KV Power-Transformer
6 20 MVA 132/33 KV Power-Transformer
