What is a Power Transformer ?

The transformer which is used on transmission lines for transmission and distribution of relatively large quantities of energy are called power transformer. It is used for power generation and transmission system. The voltage rating of the power transformer is generally above 11 KV.

50 MVA 132/33 KV Power-Transformer

The rating of power transformers is given below

Sl. No. Capacity and voltage ratting of Power-Transformer
1 315 MVA 400/220 KV Single ph auto transformer
2 200 MVA 220/132/33 KV Auto Transformer
3 160 MVA 220/132/33 KV Auto Transformer
4 50 MVA 132/33 KV Power-Transformer
5 31.5 MVA 132/33 KV Power-Transformer
6 20 MVA 132/33 KV Power-Transformer
7 7.5 MVA 66/33 KV Power-Transformer
8 5 MVA 66/33 KV Power-Transformer
9 5 MVA 33/11 KV Power-Transformer
